I have no particular experience in writing, but have a lot of ideas floating about, and so I have decided to put something out there. I tend to think about ordinary people when I am writing and try to be true to what is real and what goes on behind closed doors. My writing inspirations include Elizabeth Strout, and the television series The Street, a show about ordinary people, their problems and what you don’t see what goes on behind closed doors. I also like to read fantasy fiction including The Mists of Avalon, The Song of Achilles, Circe and Clan of the Cave Bear (although I do not aspire to write anything as good or as fantastical as these!)
